Three years on skis. Five podiums this year. And he’s only 11.
There’s a new face on Team Crash Snow — and for the first time, there are skis involved. 🎿
We’re seriously stoked to welcome 11-year-old freestyle skier Ayrton Drury to the team, becoming the first skier to officially represent Crash Snow.
And while his results already speak pretty loudly, there’s a lot more to Ayrton than medals.
From first turns to Park & Pipe
Ayrton started skiing at just eight years old, with Snowtrax in Bournemouth as his home slope.
Fast-forward just a few years and he’s already earned a place in the Snowsport England Park & Pipe Squad, developing his freestyle skiing alongside some of the country’s most promising young riders.
For someone who has only been on skis for a relatively short time, his progress has been pretty incredible.
And 2026 has already been quite a year.
At The Brits in Mayrhofen, Ayrton took silver in Big Air, alongside bronze medals in both Slopestyle and Slalom.
Back in the UK, the podiums kept coming, with silver finishes at The Brits in Tamworth and the English Champs.
Five podiums. One season. Age 11.

More than medals
Results are brilliant. We love seeing our riders on podiums.
But podiums aren’t the reason someone gets invited to join Team Crash Snow.
We care just as much about the person wearing our logo as we do about where they finish on a results sheet.
And that’s a big part of why Ayrton belongs here.
He’s kind, modest, tenacious and pretty much always smiling. He gives everything a go, works hard and brings exactly the kind of attitude we want Team Crash Snow to represent.
He rides hard.
He’s crashed pretty hard too. 😂
And he gets back up and goes again.
That’s our kind of rider.
Our first skier 🎿
Ayrton joining the team also marks something pretty special for us.
Crash Snow might have its roots firmly planted in snowboarding, but we've always believed that the best part of snowsports is the community around them.
Whether you're clipping into skis or strapping into a snowboard, we're here for riders who love being on snow, push themselves, support each other and don't take themselves too seriously along the way.
So welcoming our first skier to Team Crash Snow feels like a pretty big moment — and Ayrton is exactly the person we wanted that first skier to be.
What’s next?
Ayrton will be representing Crash Snow alongside our Team Riders Charlie Crane and Cameron Long, and we’ll be following his riding, training and competitions as the season unfolds.
